NEO — An advanced and integrated platform, designed to grow with your business, offers maximum functionality for analog, digital and high-definition content, allowing customers to quickly benefit from evolving standards and technology. An advanced processing platform, NEO not only hosts core, single-function modules, but also consolidates vital audio/video processing and timing functions on a single “Simplicity” module. New, award-winning, specialty modules have been added to NEO: NEO VR digital video recorder, LogoMotion II branding tool and the NEO SuiteView multisource display processor. These applications extend the practicality of NEO beyond traditional, conventional modular applications.

NEO integrates with 6800+, Genesis, the DPS-575 and other Leitch products through its common control and monitoring network allowing for worldwide control and monitoring to meet all operational and monitoring needs.

NAVIGATOR — Reduce operational costs using Navigator’s extensive real-time control and monitoring capabilities, which allow unsurpassed views of your processing systems — from a single module to racks of equipment in multiple locations — saving you time and resources. Leitch’s CCS Navigator — winner of NAB 2003’s highest awards for control and monitoring of content quality — and the CCS real-time system provide open access through standard protocols to components of a networked system.

     Routing Switchers

 

 




 

Leitch knows what you want in a routing switcher. You seek powerful control and an appropriate matrix size in a frame architecture that's flexible enough to support your current and future needs.

In Leitch routers, you'll find the most advanced hardware and software control systems available to the professional market. Our routers interface with automation systems, other manufacturers' router control protocols, remote control (Ethernet, TCP/IP, XY, serial), and other special equipment to give you reign over the external world. Internally, Leitch's control systems let you reconfigure at will. You can change matrix sizes, control panel button functions and crosspoint assignments (from physical to logical identities).

The Leitch routing switcher portfolio features two flagship product groups for the broadcast, cable, teleproduction and telecom industries - Integrator™, (Integrator Gold) and PANACEA™. These routers range in size from 8x8 to 512x512 and offer routing of almost any format, from analog audio and video to high-definition serial digital video.

In addition to our primary router series, Leitch also maintains three legacy router lines: the Mix Box™ (small card) series, VIA32® and Xplus™. NOTE: Mix Box is a continuing product - not a legacy.
 

Large, Scalable, Modular Routers (32X32 to 512x512)

Integrator is an economical, large multi-format router that integrates all digital and analog signal formats - from SDI/ASI to HDTV at 1.5 Gb/s - within the same frame. Featuring redundant hot-swappable logic cards and power supplies, the Integrator solutions include routing systems in 4, 6 and 8RU frames, which provide expandability from 32x32 to 512x512 in a distributed routing architecture.

Integrator Gold is the new GOLD standard when it comes to wideband digital multi-rate routing. Housed in the Integrator 8RU frame, the new Integrator GOLD will route up to 128 digital signals (from 3 Mb/s to 1.485 Gb/s) to 128 destinations. The 8RU Integrator GOLD can easily scale from 8x8 to 128x128 in multiples of 8 I/O.
 

Small Modular Routers (8x8 to 32x32)

Panacea is a 1 or 2RU modular routing switcher that meets today’s multi-format signal requirements at an unbeatable price while incorporating the same high quality, flexibility and power customers have come to expect from Leitch routers. Panacea features on-air quality, comprehensive format support (including HD), and can mix multiple signal formats in the same frame. Panacea is suitable for all space constrained applications and can go beyond traditional broadcast applications. The low profile frame is perfect for mobile and post-production applications, educational and corporate clients as well as TV stations, production studios, network facilities, automation systems.

With PANACEA, unsurpassed control flexibility is the norm, including CCS-compatibility and Ethernet control. Panacea also features multiple power options, a wide array of routing matrices (from 8x8 up to 32x32 and 256x1), and the industry's only SD/HD clean switch incorporated with an AES/EBU quiet switch.
 

Compact Monitoring Routers (16x1 to 256x1; 16x4 to 256x4)

Panacea provides compact, on-air quality monitoring solutions in all signal formats with the option of one or four outputs. The Panacea series also offers the industries only Clean and Quiet switch routers. Clean switch routers provide “glitch free” switching of SD or HD wideband signals that can be combined with the AES Quiet switch to provide “pop free” switching of AES signals in 16x1, 16x2, 32x1 and 32x2 matrix sizes allowing Panacea to be used as a simple on-air master control or as a reliable backup for on-air applications.
 

MIX BOX and Card Routers

The MIX BOX and plug-in Card Routers allow switching of SDI, analog video and audio signals. Matrix sizes of 2x1 to 4x4 are accommodated for small routing and monitor switching applications. The MIX BOX series provides standalone operation with local and remote control panels. The analog video and audio card routers can be added as an option to 1302/2602 series products, and the SDI card router can be added to the 6800/7000 series of products.
