The Aputure NOVA II 2×1 is a next-generation full-color LED panel designed to set a new benchmark for professional film, television, and broadcast lighting.
Building on the legacy of the Nova P600c, the NOVA II 2×1 delivers twice the output and an even greater degree of creative control, all within a rugged, IP65-rated body engineered for the most demanding production environments.
At its core lies Aputure’s advanced BLAIR-CG chipset, a seven-diode architecture that combines Blue, Lime, Amber, Indigo, Red, Cyan, and Green emitters. This
design unlocks precise spectral reproduction across an extended CCT range of 1,800K–20,000K, with full ±G green-magenta adjustment that conforms to the
complete ASC MITC standard. For cinematographers and gaffers, this means unparalleled ability to match ambient light sources, fine-tune white point
consistency, or push bold creative contrasts with absolute confidence.
With an immense 1000W of power, the NOVA II 2×1 produces 24,700 lux at 3 meters (5600K, bare bulb), outpacing nearly every LED panel in its class. Even
with diffusion applied, it maintains exceptional punch and softness, supported by industry-leading fidelity metrics: CRI/TLCI ≥95, TM-30 Rf 95/Rg 100, and SSI scores of 90 (3200K) and 86 (5600K). Its newly developed direct front-mounting accessory system broadens creative possibilities while reducing the complexity of mounting slide-in modifiers on traditional panel lights , while a removable yoke ensures maximum flexibility when rigging on stages, trusses, or location builds.
Recognizing the practical realities of production, the NOVA II 2×1 introduces a host of refinements for reliability and ease of use. Multiple dimming curves, four fan modes, and dual output modes (Max and Constant) allow the fixture to adapt seamlessly to both silent sound stages and high-intensity exteriors. For
long-term durability and fleet deployment, studios and rental houses can pair the fixture with an optional custom rolling hard case, providing professional-
grade protection and transport security between jobs.
Control is equally robust, with compatibility across Sidus Link® and Sidus Link Pro®, 16-bit DMX512 in/out, CRMX, and USB or DMX batch firmware upgrades.
