The Hedbox HED-NPF995 DV Battery Pack is a high-capacity battery providing up to 57.7Wh / 7800mAh, compatible with HD video camcorders and various devices that use SONY NP-F 7.4V-style batteries, such as LED lights, field monitors, and recorders. A key feature is the dual-color IDL (Identification Display LED Monitor), along with a USB-C / 20W port. The IDL provides a clear visual indication of the battery’s status, while the USB-C input enables convenient charging with standard USB-C chargers. The battery incorporates advanced technology to ensure fast, safe, and accurate power monitoring:
ACI (Auto Capacity Identification) – Automaticaly Displays remaining battery capacity.
LCA (Low Capacity Alarm) – Alerts users when the battery is running low (10% capacity).
OLA (Overload Alarm) – Prevents excessive power consumption.
CSI (Charging Status Identification) – Indicates charging progress.
Built with high-quality lithium-ion cells, this battery offers over 6 hours of runtime at full load. Additionally, an integrated data communication chip synchronizes with camcorders and peripherals to display the precise power percentage on the connected device.

Fully autonomous and self-operational, it provides hands-free convenience for the operator, allowing a quick glance at the battery’s IDL to access essential information instantly.
LCA – Low Capacity Alarm Hedbox R&D is excited to introduce a groundbreaking innovation to the worldwide video & photo market: a cutting-edge continuous Smart monitoring alarm designed for low battery capacity. With a pending patent, our LCA Emergency Alarm is engineered to activate when the battery capacity level drops below 10%. It triggers a distinctive and easily visible flashing red color IDL – Identification Display Led in silent mode (no buzzer). This exclusive feature serves as a prompt for users, signaling that the battery has fallen below the 10% capacity threshold.

OLA – Overload Alarm
When the battery experiences excessive power consumption (exceeding 6A), the OLA (Overload Alarm) is activated. In this state, the IDL (Identification Display LED) flashes red and green color alternately, indicating that the battery is in overload mode. It is recommended to immediately remove the battery from the powered device to prevent potential damage. This system helps users accurately identify the issue, eliminating uncertainty about the battery’s functionality and ensuring proper operation. CSI – Charging Status Identification The battery is enhanced with a USB-C power input, allowing it to be charged directly using any USB-C charger. With CSI Monitoring when connected to a USB-C port or a standard NPF charger for charging, the IDL led flashes red color, notifying the user that the battery is actively charging. Once fully charged, the IDL led switches to a constant green color, indicating the battery is ready for use.

The battery is enhanced with a USB-C power input, allowing it to be charged directly using any USB-C charger that supports 5V/3A, 9V/2A, 12V/1.5A, or 15V/1A (20W). This USB-C port is compatible with a wide range of charging protocols, including PD3.0, QC2.0, QC3.0, PPS, AFC, FCP, SCP, DCP-1.5A, and APPLE-2.4A.
